questions and understand the way the questions have been structured.
STRUCTURE OF THE QUESTION PAPER
1.
SECTION A: Short questions:
(20 x 2 = 40 marks)
Question 1: (three questions)
(Multiple choice, matching concepts/terms and choose correct words.)

SECTION B: Short and long questions. (3 x 60 = 180)
You will be given 5 questions of which you must ONLY CHOOSE 3.
This section will include case studies.
Prepare yourself to answer questions using words such as: discuss, compare, motivate,
differentiate and explain.
Question 2: Business environments
Question 3: Business environments and business venture
Question 4: Business roles
Question 5: Business operations
Question 6: Miscellaneous

SECTION C: Four long questions will be given, of which you answer two questions.
(40 x 2 = 80)
From each category (Business environment, Business venture, Business Operations and Business
roles) a long question will be set.
