Lake Area Bank opened its doors in White Bear Lake in
1989. The current bank building was built in 2003. Lake
Area Bank’s White Bear Lake location is the largest of
the eight bank locations, with 33 employees. In addition to Business and Personal Banking, the Credit Department, Loan Operations, IT, Compliance and Finance
departments are all housed in the White Bear Lake location. The location also offers mortgage services through
Lake Area Mortgage and investment planning services
through Lake Area Financial Services.

of Commerce. Our employees enjoy volunteering for
the Merrick Inc. Bowl-a-thon and Merrick Inc. Golf Tournament, Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic, and Community Thread. A group of us also took the Polar Plunge,
raising money for the Ronald McDonald House this past
winter. We enjoy participating in the annual Manitou
Days Parade each year and this year we will be running
in the Manitou Days 5K race.
