 Thank God for the blessing of our expanded CCS campus and that we’ll glorify Him as we use it.

Announcements
All parents who plan to chaperone a field trip or volunteer at the school this year need to complete a
background check form and return it to our office with the $5 processing fee by the end of this week. Bus
evacuation training is also required annually for parents who will chaperone field trips. Training will be available
next Wednesday morning, September 19th, as well as during Family Fun Knight, Friday September 21st.
Buy your tickets in the office now for Family Fun Knight – next Friday, September 21st from 6:00-9:00! This
entertaining community evening is open for all students, families and friends. Tickets purchased in advance are 5
for $1 and on the night of the event are 4 for $1.
The Annual CCS Auction is coming up on Saturday, November 10th, and we are in need of additional donated
items. Any time you spend procuring items for the auction will count towards your Christian Caring hours.
Consider asking the businesses you frequent as well as any skilled craftspeople among your friends and family.
All CCS moms are invited to join our Moms-In-Touch group. They meet every Wednesday from 1:30-3:00 pm
in the Eastside Church of Christ Library to pray for our school.
We encourage parents to sign up for our eScrip fundraising program – it’s easy and CCS can earn 10% from
your qualifying purchases! Register online at www.eScrip.com and shop as you normally do to start benefitting
our school! We also continue to collect Box Tops and Labels for Education and welcome your contribution!
