As a member of staff at MMU, you have a Barracuda account where email messages identified as potential
spam are stored.
When new messages are delivered to your Barracuda Inbox you will received a summary email listing the
new messages. This email will also include a link to your account so you can delete messages, release
them for delivery to your Outlook account and manage your account preferences such as whitelisting and
blocking email addresses.
Whitelisting an email address or domain means that future emails arriving from a whitelisted source will
by-pass any spam checking.
Blocking an email address or domain means that future emails arriving from a blocked source will no
longer arrive in your email or Barracuda accounts.
To Whitelist an email address or email domain
Locate a Barracuda Quarantine Summary email in your inbox.
At the bottom of this email, locate and select link entitled
View your entire Quarantine inbox or manage your
preferences.
A web browser will open, displaying your Barracuda Quaratine inbox. In here you can choose to deliver,
delete, whitelist or block any of the emails shown.
To whitelist or block an email address
Select Preferences and
the Whitelist/Blocklist tab
To whitelist: Add the
email address under
Allowed Email Address
To block: Add
the email
address under
Blocked Email
Address
To complete the task, either close the web browser or select Sign out.
Select Add
