As a member of staff at MMU, you have a Barracuda account where email messages identified as potential spam are stored. When new messages are delivered to your Barracuda Inbox you will received a summary email listing the new messages. This email will also include a link to your account so you can delete messages, release them for delivery to your Outlook account and manage your account preferences such as whitelisting and blocking email addresses. Whitelisting an email address or domain means that future emails arriving from a whitelisted source will by-pass any spam checking. Blocking an email address or domain means that future emails arriving from a blocked source will no longer arrive in your email or Barracuda accounts. To Whitelist an email address or email domain Locate a Barracuda Quarantine Summary email in your inbox. At the bottom of this email, locate and select link entitled View your entire Quarantine inbox or manage your preferences. A web browser will open, displaying your Barracuda Quaratine inbox. In here you can choose to deliver, delete, whitelist or block any of the emails shown. To whitelist or block an email address Select Preferences and the Whitelist/Blocklist tab To whitelist: Add the email address under Allowed Email Address To block: Add the email address under Blocked Email Address To complete the task, either close the web browser or select Sign out.
