to as RGR&L. This document along with the addendums provided serves to provide you with detailed information,
the terms and conditions for the use of our facilities, a checklist of available services and an agreement between you
(the client) and RGR&L.
The Rössmund Golf Resort & Lodge is situated approximately 7 km from the coastal town of Swakopmund on the
northern banks of the Swakop riverbed. The resort comprises a 20 room lodge, an 18-hole golf course and a
residential estate. The location has the advantage of being beyond the coastal mist belt most days of the year,
basking the complex in sunshine during the day and starry skies at night. Free-roaming springbok prance on the
fairways while an immense variety of birds, small mammals and reptiles soar overhead or scurry underneath in this
tranquil oasis.
With its wonderful backdrop of the oldest desert in the world, the Namib, RGR&L is the perfect location for special
occasions and photographic shoots. Whether you decide on a small and intimate wedding reception or a larger
extravagant affair, RGR&L offers you the ideal setting for your special day. Services range from simple venue hire for
the ceremony only to full packages including accommodation, ceremony & reception venues with catering & bar
services.

RGR&L offers a variety of venues for the ceremony and reception. We highly recommend an on-site inspection to
best plan which facilities you would like to book. The venues include:
RÖSSMUND LODGE “POOL AREA” – mainly used for the ceremony and
cocktails before/after ceremony. The deck overlooking the pool made
from natural rock makes for a romantic setting. This area is private
(exclusive use) for the wedding party only if all 14 bungalows around
the chalets are booked as part of the wedding package.
VENUE HIRE FEE: N$2400
RÖSSMUND GOLF COURSE “BIG HALL” – this hall is the main
clubhouse bar and dining area with views over the 18th green
stretching out to the Namib Desert. It can seat a maximum of 120
people without a dance floor, or 80 with a dance floor.
VENUE HIRE FEE: N$5,250.00
RÖSSMUND GOLF COURSE “SMALL HALL” – this hall is the next to the
“Big Hall” and has its own small bar area with doors leading onto the
deck also looking over the 18th green and Namib Desert beyond. It can
seat a maximum of 64 people without a dance floor, or 48 with a
dance floor.

RÖSSMUND GOLF COURSE “CONFERENCE HALL” – Private room with access to the deck
overlooking the 18th green, usually used for conferences, but could be used for intimate wedding groups
or as the buffet station for very large weddings.

RÖSSMUND GOLF COURSE “BIG & SMALL HALL” COMBO – the two halls have a sliding
participation which can be opened to allow for a seating capacity of 184 people without a
dance floor, or 120 with a dance floor.

RÖSSMUND GOLF COURSE “BIG & SMALL HALL & CONFERENCE ROOM” COMBO – in addition to the big &
small hall combo, the conference hall is included as the buffet room for bigger weddings to maximize
seating and dance floor space in the two connected halls. This allows for a seating capacity of 184 people
with a dance floor.

Rössmund Lodge offers 6 chalets overlooking the fairways and driving range, while another 14 chalets overlook the
beautiful swimming pool built from natural rock.

ACCOMMODATION RATES FOR 2016:

Standard Rates: N$ 700.00 per person sharing or N$ 880.00 per person in a
single room, N$880.00 per person sharing a VIP chalet or N$1020.00 per
person in single VIP chalet.
Namibians and SADC members receive 15% discount off the above rates.
FOR WEDDINGS: we offer a SPECIAL discount of 20% off accommodation if a minimum of 8 rooms are booked or
25% off accommodation if a minimum of 14 rooms are booked. Rates as follows:


Package Room Bookings (min. of 8 rooms booked): N$560.00 per person sharing or N$704.00 per person in
a single room (standard room rates)
Package Room Bookings (min. of 14 rooms booked): N$525.00 per person sharing or N$660.00 per person in
a single room (standard room rates)
All “per person sharing” rates assume 2 persons sharing. A slightly discounted rate is applicable if 3-4 persons
share a room provided a triple or quadruple room is available. Children rates are available – please enquire.
A full English breakfast is included in the accommodation rate. Please bear in mind, however, when the lodge
is full, especially in the case of wedding guests, we do not offer special orders like omelettes. Should the wedding
guests like to all meet for breakfast at the same time, then we would need to know in advance and we will prepare a
buffet style breakfast.

All package options include the 14 rooms located around the swimming pool with exclusive use
of the pool area during the ceremony and for before/after celebratory drinks. The 14 rooms are
offered at 25% off the normal rates. The bridal couple stay is complimentary.
If all 14 rooms are not used, the package offer falls away, and individual rooms for wedding guests will be offered at
20% off the normal rates. If at least 8 rooms are booked on at least 2 persons sharing per room, we will offer the
bridal couple one VIP room for the night of the wedding only on a complimentary basis.
The packages assume 2 adults in each of the 14 rooms.
Venues included for the ceremony & reception are examples and can be amended to suit the number of guests
invited, and are then subject to re-quoting of the package.
Please Note: Rössmund Golf Resort & Lodge (RGR&L) is the marketing name for the Rössmund Lodge cc and Rössmund Golf Course
cc. This informational document will cover both premises regardless of whether the venue(s) booked is/are only at one of these
entities. The terms “Rössmund” and “RGR&L” used will thus imply Rössmund Lodge cc and Rössmund Golf Course cc.
