Food Services: Part Time Delivery Driver
Sage is a multi-service agency that has provides services to older adults in the Edmonton area.
Reporting to the Manager of Food Services, this position is responsible for the delivery of the Sage
Savories frozen meals throughout the Edmonton area. The delivery driver assembles client’s
orders and then organizes an efficient daily delivery route. Vehicle is provided. Must have excellent
customer service skills and relate well with older adults. This is a casual job share position.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday from 10:00a.m. – 1:00p.m.
Qualifications:
 Related experience an asset
 Valid Driver’s License
 Clear driver’s abstract

OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION: Delivery of the Sage Savories frozen menu items to clients
throughout the Edmonton area. Delivery of food items to Sage Seniors Safe House.
Area of Responsibility

Tasks
Deliver Sage Savories frozen menu items to clients
Organize an efficient delivery route.
Collect cash and cheques as necessary and return to
Sage.
Assist with order picking
Any other duty deemed necessary by the Food
Service Manager.
Offer clients any assistance required ie: storing frozen
meals in their freezer
Create a positive connection between client and Sage
Notify supervisor if client is in need of additional
support
QUALIFICATIONS
Related experience an asset.
Valid Alberta drivers license.
Must supply a current drivers abstract
SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
Ability to navigate City of Edmonton using GPS
Ability to work independent
Ability to work as a team with other staff and volunteers.
Must be neat and clean appearance.
Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Must be able to relate well with older adults.
Must be fluent in English, both written and oral.
Must be able to take direction.
HOURS OF WORK
Monday – Friday from approx. 10:00 a.m. – 1:00pm. Shift may extend beyond this time frame
depending on the amount of deliveries.
Closed on all statutory holidays.
SALARY LEVEL
Starting salary: $12.34 per hour.
