TIPS:
Printing colours on the lighter neutral shades of metallic colours can enhance colours even
more - like the invitation sample shown on the left.
Remember if you want to print colours on coloured paper - the colour of the paper will show
through the ink.
The bright and darker colours are usually used as background card with a transparent overlay
sheet that is printed - or they look great when foiled, embossed or Off-Set printed with opaque
light coloured or metallic inks.

We have several paper sample swatch books from leading trade-only
paper merchants showcasing papers exclusive to the print industry only.
Prices vary a lot - speciality textured and coloured papers used
for things like special invitations, menu covers or presentation folders
are more expensive than the standard white papers used
for everyday documents like magazines or flyers.
Linen paper and board
Available in 100gsm and 270gsm
Looks exactly like a linen fabric, has a ‘woven’ appearance.
Prints well with full colour photographs as well as plain text.
