NGOs in the west part of Romania. Whit 33 Youth NGO members and 26 years old
FITT is the most important and old youth NGO in this part of the country.
Programs and activities implemented by FITT range from social programs for

Assembly made of the youth NGOs in Timis County (West part of Romania) and a
board consisting of 13 young people.
We have in possession the Timisoara Youth House - which this year has been
awarded with The Council of Europe Quality Label for Youth Centres.. We are one of
the eight such Youth Centers in Europe that have this Accreditation and the only one
in Romania.
Our Youth House has the following facilities: 3 seminar rooms, a cinema, a spectacle
room, a hotel where young people can rent rooms while visiting our city, restaurant,
art-music club, gym and pub.

It is the main social, economic and cultural centre in the western part of Romania.
The city is a candidate to become, in 2021, the European Capital of Culture.
Timisoara is the place to be in Romania for night life and for leisure for young
people. Many bars, pubs, parties and disco clubs are open all year. It is city for
students, many important Romanian universities are locates in Timisoara, so it is
the place to be for young people, the right place for youth activities.
