HOME LEARNING Year: One Term: Spring 2 Topic: Hot and cold areas of the world. Hand in date: 19.3.17 This term we will be looking at hot and cold areas of the world in Geography. For your homework, you will need to: Week 1: Draw and label animals that live in the rainforest. Week 2: Choose one animal that lives in the rainforest and research about it. Draw and label/write in sentences. Week 3: Create a poster/leaflet about your chosen animal. Week 4: If you were going to the rainforest what would you take in your suitcase? Draw, label and explain why. Resources I will need: Homework books, colouring pencils, felt tips, books, internet, research books (library visit)etc. Skills I will use: Forming sentences/ using phonic knowledge Using geographical knowledge Research skills Drawing skills How an adult can help me: Help me to research my destinations either by helping me to use the internet safely or taking me to the library. Practise reading with me for ten minutes every day and sign my guided reading record. Please remind me to bring my book bag every day and my PE kit to school on Monday for the week ahead. Help me to learn to dress and undress myself. Homework needs to be retuned weekly by Tuesday morning at the latest.
