Velammal Engineering College was established in the year
1995-96 by Shri. M.V. Muthuramalingam. It is affiliated to
Anna University and approved by All India Council for Technical
Education (AICTE). The Institution was awarded the
prestigious ISO 9001:2000 certification and accredited with
‘A’ grade by NAAC.
Faculty members, researchers, students and industrial

various fields. As a part of the conference, papers are invited in
the topics related to Role of Cryptography in Defence in IEEE
format including abstract, introduction, methods, results,

One of the authors of the selected papers must register and
present their paper at the conference.
The Department of Computer Science and Applications is
headed by Dr. M. Ramakrishnan. The department offers
intensive career oriented training to the students. Thrust is

SCOPE OF THE CONFERENCE
NCRCD ’10 is a convergence to emerge the Role of
Cryptography in Defence. The primary objective of the
conference is to provide a national forum to intensify the
information exchange & excellent opportunities for
