FedEx GCC Road Services
For all your less-than-truckload and full-truckload shipments to anywhere in the
Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), FedEx offers you reliable, door-to-door, day-definite,
customs-cleared(1) services, delivered via our dedicated trucking network of fullybody trailers.
Carrier Liability
Unless the Sender enters a higher Declared Value for Carriage on the air waybill, the liability of FedEx is
limited to the higher of a) the amount provided by the applicable international treaty (including Warsaw
and CMR Convention) or b) € 22/kg or c) US$ 100 per Shipment. FedEx does not provide cargo liability
or all-risk insurance but the Sender may pay an additional charge for Declared Value for Carriage above
these limits, subject to an incremental charge of KWD 0.13 per KWD 32 declared value. Specific items
such as artwork, film, antiques, glassware, jewellery, furs, watches, etc. (refer to section 18.4 of Conditions
of Carriage) are limited to a maximum declared value for carriage of US$ 1,000 per shipment or US$ 9.07 per
US pound, whichever is greater. Liability of claims requires notice of claims within strict time limits. FedEx’s
liability is subject to strict and detailed terms and conditions. For further information regarding carrier
liability please refer to the Federal Express Conditions of Carriage or your Customer Service representative.

Broker Select Option (BSO):
FedEx allows customers to choose their own broker for customs clearance for shipments destined to all
Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
FedEx Customs Brokerage Services:
For your more complex import and export requirements, FedEx offers a range of special customs
Clearance services, subject to an additional fee. Contact us for more detailed information on 1802233.
Fuel Surcharge:
FedEx applies a Dynamic Fuel Surcharge to its shipping services. Information on the fuel surcharge
for each month are published. For more information on the Fuel Surcharge, please visit our website

The Prices exclude import and export duties and taxes (D&T), which are payable separately. In addition

FedEx GCC Road Services are subject to the Conditions of Carriage for EMEA as published by FedEx on
www.fedex.com or elsewhere and set out on the Air Waybill. In particular, Shipments originating in the
Middle East are subject to the Federal Express Conditions of Carriage for EMEA (see Air Waybill and
fedex.com/kw/services/terms). The Conditions of Carriage limit and in certain events exclude FedEx’s
liability for loss, destruction, damage and delay and require claims to be made within strict time limits.

Loose, less-than-truckload shipments
FedEx International Economy ® Service is your choice for loose (non palletized) multiple piece shipments
to one destination with a minimum billable weight of 68 kilograms.
Palletized less-than-truckload shipments
FedEx International Economy ® Freight Service is your choice for palletized multiple piece shipments to
one destination with a minimum billable weight of 68 kilograms per piece.

• Determine the zone of the destination country.
• Establish the weight of your shipment to find the rate in the appropriate column.
• Multiply the quoted rate per kilogram by the total shipment weight.
