Gavin Biggs

years, Therian has grown to be the most respected

My main focus at Therian as CEO is to help your

Gavin’s Background
Gavin joined Therian in January 2006 after working
in the commercial construction industry for 18 years.
Gavin’s construction management experience spans
many industries, including design and construction of
aircraft hangars, aged care facilities, airport terminals,
shopping centres, high rise apartments and office
towers and disability service facilities.
In his childhood years, Gavin worked in his parent’s
animal boarding facility, called Hanrob, located in the
southern suburbs of Sydney. This provided him with a
thorough understanding of animal housing requirements
for dogs, cats and horses.
Since 2006 Gavin has been heavily involved in designing
and project managing many animal facilities. His skills
in capturing and documenting animal and human flows
within facilities ensures that both animal management,
disease control and human movement throughout

travelled extensively throughout the USA touring over
120 animal facilities to gain a thorough understanding
of the specific requirements necessary to ensure animal
welfare, animal management and staff utilisation is
practical and has been given top priority.
