St. Michaels PTA has lots of exciting things coming up in the next few
months; here are some important dates for your diaries:
 Our Friday after school treats are proving very popular, here is
the listing for this term:
Friday 1st May we have popcorn
Friday 8th May is a Cake sale (Year 3 and 5 to provide cakes this
time please)
May 15th Ice cream
May 22nd Tuck shop.
 We have a fun “Do something funny for money” sponsored
walk planned for Thursday 14th May, this will be during the
school day and each year group will have a fun theme. Please
look out for sponsor forms in the book bags. If for any reason
your child doesn’t receive one please see Mrs Hollis in the
school office or Danielle Sharpe (Year 2 Mum) for a spare form.
We are hoping to use the sponsor money to buy a brand new
school PA system with microphones, which will transform the
class assemblies and Christmas performances hugely. So please
help your children to collect some sponsors from family and
friends, it will make such a big difference!
 There will be a non-school uniform day on Friday 22nd May, the
fine this time will be either £1 or a male gift (to be used for
“Gentleman’s Day” wrapping room later in the month).
 After the success of our “Ladies Day” wrapping room we will be
having a “Gentleman’s Day” wrapping room. The children will
be wrapping on Thursday 18th May and there will be a letter to
follow soon with more details.
 THE CIRCUS IS COMING TO OUR SCHOOL PLAYGROUND! On
Saturday 27th June we will be hosting a Summer Circus in our
school playground. Tickets will be on sale very soon. We will be
having lots of fun stalls around the Circus Tent including Face
painting, BBQ, Lucky dip, Tombola, Beer tent, Crockery smash
and LOTS MORE!
 Summer School Disco will be Friday 3rd July, details to follow
later in the school term.
Our next PTA meeting is on Thursday 4th June at 1.30pm in the school
mobile, please do come along for a chat and a cup of Tea your input
and ideas are so important to us.
