Cancels the current ADD or COPY. Removes a new record from the screen and returns to View

Hide Tree Menu
Hides the tree menu.
Show Tree Menu
Turns on the tree menu.
Move to Previous Pane
Switches to the previous pane in the list on the Windows Menu.
Move to Next Pane
Switches to the next pane in the list on the Windows Menu.
Go
Goes from any field in one panel to the first field of the next
panel.
Save
Saves changes to the current record.
Reset
Undos all changes to the current record. In Add mode, it
resets the defaults for the record being entered.
Undo One
Undos a single level change to a field when your cursor is
placed in that field.
Add
Places you in Add mode. Adds a new record. This record is
not added to the database until it is saved.
Copy
Adds a new record by copying the fields from the current
record into the new one.
Delete
Deletes the current record. The No button is the default
when verifying the deletion.
Cancel
Cancels the current ADD or COPY. Removes the new
record from the screen and places you back in View mode.
In Edit mode, Cancel cancels your changes and returns you
to View mode.
Move to First Record
Moves to the first record in the table.
Move to Last Record
Moves to the last record in the table.
Move to Previous Record Moves to the previous record in the table.
Move to Next Record
Moves to the next record in the table.
Print
Brings up the print selection criteria, then prints a report of
the current function.
Show
Brings up the Show screen with applicable data. Enabled for
File Maintenance and some data entry functions.
Filter
Brings up a filter dialog box used to specify which records to
include in the table. It is only enabled on the F/M Show
screen and on Argon functions.
Other Tasks
When clicking the down arrow on the icon, a drop down menu
appears. This menu contains Export to Excel and Refresh,
where applicable. Otherwise, this menu contains items that
are not common in all functions.

Description
Add
Used to add new records. The buttons enabled in Add mode are: Save,
Reset, Undo, and Cancel. The Reset button resets all defaults. Cancelling
out of Add mode returns you to View mode.
Edit
Save, Reset, Delete, Undo, and Cancel. The Reset and Cancel buttons
Used to change existing records. The buttons enabled in Edit mode are:
cancel all changes made to the record. After saving the changes, you are
returned to View mode.
Input
Used for all wizard-like functions and for entering the selection criteria
in inquiries. The buttons enabled in Input mode are: Undo and Cancel.
The Show button changes the mode from Input to Inquiry.
Inquiry
Used when data is displayed in an inquiry. You cannot add, change, or
delete records in this mode. Examples of buttons that may be enabled in
Inquiry mode are: Other Tasks and navigation buttons.
View
Used when a record is not in Add or Edit mode. Examples of buttons
that may be enabled in View mode on the Button Bar are: the pane
navigation buttons, Add, Copy, Delete, Print, Show, Filter, and
Other Tasks (if applicable). Cancelling or saving from other modes
returns you to View mode.
