Requirements:
1. Element Advertisement
-must include color
-neat and accurate
2. Element Fact Sheet- must be typed
-can download from my website and type directly on it
-do NOT cut and paste, use your own words
-If your fact sheet is not attached/included as directed, your
project will not be graded and you will receive a zero
3. Presentation
*Ad must be at least the size of standard paper (8.5” x 11”)
*DO NOT INCLUDE ANYTHING THAT YOU DO NOT
UNDERSTAND!!!
*Grading Rubrics will be posted online for you to look at.
*Make sure to look at the rubric so you know what I’m
looking for when I grade. The best thing to do is have an
adult (parent/guardian) use the rubric to see if you are
missing anything.
*One class period will be given for computer research
*Check your printer’s ink WAY before project is due.
*Lack of planning on your part will
not get you an extension
Design and element ad for your assigned element, which includes
a creative slogan about the use(s) for that element. The goal is to
get someone to purchase your product/element. Creativity,
neatness and accuracy of information are expected. You must
have a slogan that is creative. Many students in the past have not
done well on the ad because they either are missing a slogan or
it’s not creative. The idea is to sell your product.
Notebook paper is NOT acceptable, use computer/copy paper or poster board.
*Remember, creativity is required. Your ad must make me want
to purchase your product!
*Be sure to include on the poster:
-symbol,
-name
-atomic mass
-atomic #
-ad slogan (creative)
-cost (be sure to tell how much you get for the price)
-picture or drawing
-name, date, class period on the back.
You may compose your ad on the computer or by hand.
Graphics must be included.
