Temperature Control: Sisalation® has proved
effective and beneficial in building in the comfort

Fire testing
The superior fire retardant properties incorporated into
Sisalation® FR430 will satisfy most insurance requirements.
Tested in accordance with SANS 10177, SANS 428 &
ASTM E84.
Product Fire Classification
Sisalation® FR430 has been tested according to SANS
10177:
Part 5 - Non combustiblity at 750˚C
Part 9 - Small scale fire properties using the vertical
channel test
Part 10 - Fire propagation properties using 7,4 metre
inverted channel tunnel test
Part 11 - Fire propagation properties using the large
scale application facility (with and without sprinklers)
for horizontal and vertical applications.

Dustproofs: Keeping the building as dust free as
possible can be an important factor in reducing
allergens in the air we breathe, thus reducing allergy and
asthma symptoms.
Vapour Barrier: Sisalation ® prevents moisture
being introduced into the ceiling by outside
weather conditions such as rain, humidity or condensation.

Fire: Sisalation® fire retardant products have
been tested by Firelab and have a fire performance
classification of B/B1/2/H&V - with and without sprinklers.
Economical: Easy to install Sisalation® is
maintenance free and long-lasting. Used as an
exposed roof lining, lighting is greatly improved due to the foil’s
high reflectivity. And, because Sisalation® saves money through
reduced electricity usage it will pay for itself... over and over again!

this top quality fire retardant product is ideal for insulating industrial
and commercial buildings. Sisalation® FR 430 will also act as a
dustproofing layer and has excellent vapour barrier properties.
Sisalation® FR 430 is suitable for use in industrial and commercial
buildings as an under-roof and side cladding insulation membrane,
with and without sprinklers, in accordance with SANS 10400 Part T.

Sisalation® FR 430 is a heavy duty, durable, double sided,
reflective foil laminate incorporating advanced fire retardant
properties.
Product function
Sisalation® FR 430 when used in conjunction with an
airspace is an effective thermal insulating membrane due
to the high reflectivity and low emissive properties of its
aluminium foil surfaces.

Resistance to Acids and Alkalis:
Sisalation® must not be used in contact with wet
concrete or exposed continuously to corrosive
environment.

Sisalation® must not come into contact with copper

This combination makes Sisalation® an excellent barrier to
heat flow via radiation.

however extended direct outdoor exposure is not
