SCHEDULE 2016-2017
Call-times are START (or departure) times -- not arrival times. Park and warm up before the call-time. Band & Uniform Rooms close 15 mins before call-time.
CA-134 is band room in the Center for the Arts building; GM-140 is the band uniform room located at the northeast corner of GM (gymnasium) building (south of CA
building); GM-142 is the percussion storage room; W-102 is the W building gym. UU180 is the Forum Theater.
Sunday Nov. 6
Music Rehearsal (Bring marching shoes for uniform fitting, see schedule below)
NOTE: Swap Meet on campus. Allow extra time for parking (park in Lot 4 – enter from Del Mar Blvd.)
9:30 am
Uniform fitting/check (GM-140) – all PCC Band make-up fitting (no high school students)
10 am
Uniform fitting/check (GM-140) – entire Percussion section (PCC and all high school Percussionists)
10 am
Pageantry costume & shoe fitting (W-102) (shoes - $50 payment required—cash or check made payable to PCC Band)
11 am
Band shoe fitting (CA-134) –wear marching socks ($50 payment required—cash or check made payable to PCC Band)
12 - 5 pm
Rehearsal – Percussion (stadium) and Pageantry (W-102)
1 - 5 pm
Rehearsal – Woodwinds & Brass (amphitheatre; bring pencils and music); Heralds (amphitheatre)

Marching Rehearsal and Uniform/Costume Inspection (Bring all uniform accessories: clean marching shoes, long white gloves (or wristbands for
percussionists except cymbal players), plain white socks / underwear / t-shirt, “stuff” to put up hair properly, and berets [for Tubas and Heralds])
NOTE: prescription eyeglasses need to be clear lenses (no “transition” lenses); with plain frames (no “bling” allowed on the frames)
9:45 am - 5 pm
Percussion (CA-134) and Pageantry (W-102) – Bring a sack lunch
12 - 5 pm
Woodwinds & Brass (stadium); Heralds (CA-140) - Instructor meeting following rehearsal (CA-212)

Marching Rehearsal and Bandfest Performance (Wear rehearsal uniform in morning & lunch: blue jeans [pageantry – black dance pants],
snapped white TofR jacket, tennis shoes [NO sandals, etc.!]. Wear for performance: full uniform, marching shoes, hats & berets)
8 am - 3 pm
Everyone (Meet at Bandfest Staging in rehearsal uniform) – Lunch Provided
A photography company will take individual photos of band and pageantry members between rehearsal and performance
Bandfest Performances (Start in full uniform; wear rehearsal uniform during lunch break) (Front Rank/Drum Major: ride van to TV Corner
during lunch) Tubas, Percussion, & Banners: Load Equipment Truck after 2nd Performance
8:30 am (8:15 perc / pag) - 3 pm Everyone (Meet at Bandfest Staging in full uniform/costume) - Lunch Provided

Everyone – Lunch Provided. IMPORTANT: EAT BREAKFAST BEFORE ARRIVING AT PCC!!
** Tubas, All Percussion, & Tall Flags will carry equipment on bus, but will put empty cases on truck to use after parade
