SCHOOL UNIFORM EXPECTATIONS
NB: The College reserves the right to decide whether standards of personal dress and grooming are acceptable and to take action
when standards are unsatisfactory. Unless noted all uniform can be purchased at The Warehouse, Napier.
MIDDLE SCHOOL - YEARS 7, 8, 9 & 10

P.E. UNIFORM
There is an expectation that all students will be changed into P.E. uniform during P.E. classes. The P.E. top is compulsory
(Green/White PE Top), option of shorts, leggings, bike shorts (must be black).

SENIOR UNIFORM FROM 2016
A long sleeved white shirt, school tie and black pants (pants only for boys), will be available for purchase from Term One, 2016 for
Years 11 & 12.
SCHOOL UNIFORM JACKET
This jacket is only available through the School Office.
The cost is $92. The jackets are produced by Kooga Clothing; they are waterproof, windproof and very warm. This is the only
item of clothing with a hood that may be worn to school.
YEAR 13
These students are not required to wear school uniform, but must be in clean and appropriate clothing including footwear at all
times. Hoodies are not permitted.
OPTIONAL EXTRAS FOR ALL STUDENTS
School scarf (available at The Warehouse), or option of plain dark green or black scarf. Students are permitted to wear a single
dark coloured jacket at school. Must be rainproof, not leather and puffa jackets are allowed.
White or black short sleeved under tops may be worn under uniform shirts.
Grey monogrammed caps – CAN ONLY BE PURCHASED FROM BAY BRIGHT MONOGRAMMS, 170 KENNEDY RD.
HAIR:
Hair must be off the face and a natural colour – red, blue, green,
purple etc are not natural colours and students will need to dye
it to a natural colour before coming into school. Long hair must
be tied back when students are in workshops. Boys are to be
clean shaven.
JEWELLERY / FACIAL PIERCING:
Maximum of one piercing in each ear.
One small facial piercing that is flat to the skin.
Wrist watch and taonga.
NOTHING ELSE IS ACCEPTABLE.
Dress Uniform: (For special occasions) White shirt, school trousers or skirt – worn with tie and blazer which are only available from
the College.
