Preparation:
No special prep is required prior to basecoating. You can lightly sand any slight imperfections and
wipe the surfaces with a damp cloth. Basecoat using the guidelines carved into the resin.
Artist’s Tips:
Keep a clean dampened flat brush (and a dampened Q-tip) handy to quickly wipe off paint in
unwanted areas as you go along. Use a Shader brush whenever possible to apply the basecoats.
Switch to a round brush to fill in small areas. Use the script liner and round brush for detail work.
Painting Instructions:
“Swirls” Bunny
Basecoat the bunny with Light Mocha. Apply enough coats for solid coverage. Mix equal parts of
Light Mocha and Paint Adhesion Medium together to paint the wire arms. Allow drying time then

Finishing:
Mix equal parts of Dark Chocolate and Antiquing

paper towel or lint-free rag. Leave traces of the brown stain, especially in the creases. Avoid staining the arms. Finish with several coats of DuraClear Varnish – Satin.
