Squadron Members, OH-003…
On behalf of the Squadron Commander:
THIS IS IT!
We will be having our OPEN HOUSE at our regular weekly
squadron meeting this Tuesday (19-April-2016) at the normal time
of 1900 hours (7:00 pm, local), at our squadron’s meeting facility
(CAP/OH-003 Hangar) at Lorain County Regional Airport. Here
are some notes and reminders for this week’s meeting…
Uniform of the Day (UOD)… The UOD this week will
be “BDU’s”, “Blues” or equivalent uniform for all Adult
Members. Flight Uniform is permitted for Adult Officers who are
CAP-current Pilots or qualified Aircrew Members. Cadets will be
advised of UOD by Capt. Bridge and C/2ndLT Lough, along with
duty assignments.
Alpha/Bravo Flight Cadets…
Zulu Flight (Adults) Officers…
Parent information table and CAP 101 video at the
Commanders Table (where we normally sign in.)
CAP Plane tours, ramp in front of hanger. A CAP pilot is
required for this station.
Emergency Services table. Need an ES qualified Senior
Member at this station (prefer GTL qualified)
Mini Drone Obstacle Course. This will be overseen by 2nd Lt
Ben Rubino.
Flight Simulators. This activity will be overseen by 2nd Lt Ryan
McNeilly and select CAP pilots.
RC Flight Simulator. Tentatively this will be set up next to the
stairs or in the area where the Yankee normally sits.
CAP SAR Dog Demonstration. 1st Lt Tina Carey will do a brief
talk and demo with one or more of the CAP SAR dogs. The time
is tentatively set for 2000 hrs.
Refreshments… Available in the kitchen area, but feel free to
bring additional items to share.
Air Operations Section Meeting… The next Air Ops (“Pilot”)
Meeting is Saturday, 7 May, here at Lorain County Regional
Airport. Meeting time is 0900-1200 hours.

NEXT WEEK, 26 APRIL.
WING SAREX:
OH-003 will be hosting a Wing SAREX, 29 April – 1 May 2016. We
will need help setting up the base on 29 April (time TBA). We will
need to operate a flight line, comms and base ops. This will be a
funded exercise.
