At arraignment, a judge will set the local or county bond. ICE will place a hold on the defendant to remain in custody until extradition by ICE to an immigration facility. Once extradited, it may take as long as 3 days for the defendant to be issued their immigration bond, as long as they are eligible and are not remanded to the detention facility. During this time we can go ahead with the beginning of the Immigration bond process. This way, once the bond is set, we are able to post bail as soon as possible. Immigration bond specialists are available 24/7. Housing Assistance: 49 The Inter-Faith Housing Alliance 31 S.
