The single stranded Dendrobium Orchid Lei is a familiar lei design that is sure to compliment
the wearer at any occasion. Each is hand-strung in the time honored Kui way and specially packaged
for shipment so that it arrives fresh and beautiful. This is the single stranded lei which contains

The white orchid lei is an elegant and sophisticated lei. The addition of rose buds accentuates the uniquness of
this lei. The white orchid flower is a symbol of purity and life. This sweet smelling lei combines the purity of the
white tuberose flowers with the bright orange coloration of the ilima flowers for an exquisite combination.

Single Tuberose and Purple Orchid Lei
The single tuberose and purple orchid lei is a wonderful blend of flowers which provides the
user with both color and fragrance. This lei is great for luaus and birthday parties. Single Tuberose
Lei: The tuberose flower is 2-inch elongated white blossom with elongated petals and a strong
perfume fragrance. This flowering plant grows year-round in Hawaii and is often considered the
"traditional" lei flower of the islands because of its intoxicating aroma. Blossoms are picked in the
cool early morning or late evening when they are in full bloom. The lei is then hand-sewn in circular
fashion with approximately 30-45 blossoms.

The Ti Leaf lei is a simple lei made from the Ti plant. Hawaiians believe that the ti plant has powers
to heal and to ward off evil spirits. The ti was the sacred symbol of the gods. The leaves were used in
the rituals of cleansing and rendering free of evil spirits by the kahuna-pule heiau, temple priest, and
in the rituals of healing by the kahuna-lapa'au, the medical priest. This lei is wrapped with the white
orchid flower.
