Supplier of the Year
The Middleby Corporation was
named Brinker International
Supplier Partner of the Year,
Brinker’s highest honor
for its dedicated suppliers.
According to the Brinker press
announcement on August 26
the award is given to business
partners who “continuously
work to support Brinker’s
brands, reducing costs and executing integral company initiatives,
both domestically and abroad” and the award “recognizes outstanding
Brinker supplier partners who offer innovative business ideas and
solutions to create a great experience for guests and team members.”
“Brinker is an outstanding, forward-looking organization and we are
honored to be recipients of the prestigious Brinker Supplier Partner of
the Year award,” said Group President Mark Sieron.
Brinker added, “the Middleby Corporation played an instrumental
part in the rollout of Chili’s new kitchen equipment technology, which
paved the way for culinary innovations like pizzas and flatbreads. The
equipment also helped improve kitchen pace at company-owned and
franchised restaurants throughout the country.”

‘Tis the Season, the Season of Grilling
Summer is the peak of outdoor grilling season. Approximately 41% of
consumers said they are most likely to purchase a grill for the fun of cooking
outdoors, according to the Hearth, Patio and Barbecue Association (HPBA).
Restaurants closely follow consumer trends by adding grilled food items to

CTX Debuts the New DZ33I Split Belt Conveyor Oven
CTX, the world leader in infrared conveyor cooking, offers outstanding, consistent
quality on all types of meats and proteins. Now operators can use different belt
speeds on the same oven. The DZ331 split belt conveyor oven made its debut in
May at the National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show in Chicago.
