From Edinburgh Airport:
Catch the AIRLINK service 100 bus from outside the terminal to Haymarket Rail Station. Open return
on the bus currently costs £6.00.
At Haymarket Station catch a train to Stirling. These run every 30mins and cost £9.40 for an open off
peak return. The journey takes just under 50mins.
At Stirling Rail Station either catch a taxi to University of Stirling which should cost between £7 & £10
(estimate) or catch a bus. FirstBus operate the following fast services to the University:: 58, 62 and
63. All buses can be caught at Stirling bus station which can be reached by turning left out of the
railway station and walking for 100 yards. The bus stops outside the macrobert centre.
From Glasgow Airport:
Catch the Glasgow Shuttle 500 service from outside the terminal to Glasgow Queen Street Rail
station. An open return costs £8.50.
At Glasgow Queen Street station catch a train to Stirling. These run every 30mins – 1hr. Try to catch
one that is heading towards Aberdeen, Perth or Inverness as these take 30 minutes rather than 50
minutes. An open off peak return costs £8.10.
At Stirling Rail Station either catch a taxi to University of Stirling which should cost between £7 & £10

By Train:
If travelling north on the east coast line,
line, change at Edinburgh Waverley and catch a train to Stirling.
These run every 30mins and cost £9.40 for an open off peak return. The journey takes 50mins.
If travelling north on the west coast main line you will arrive at Glasgow Central Station. You will
need to cross Glasgow to get to Glasgow Queen Street Station. This is a 10 minute walk at the very
most, or you can catch a taxi – I think there may be a shuttle bus, but
but I have never caught it as it
takes longer than walking!

Driving:
You can all find your way to Stirling on a map.
If travelling from the North at the Dunblane/Bridge of Allan roundabout you follow the A9 to Bridge
of Allan. Go through the town following signs to Stirling until you reach a roundabout then take a left
into the University of Stirling campus. Follow the road up the hill and park at the top where
indicated for the Management Centre.
If travelling from the South follow the M9 to junction 10. Follow signs towards Stirling city centre
and The Wallace Monument. At Customs Roundabout take the A9 signposted to St Andrews, Alloa &
Bridge of Allan. Follow this round until you reach a roundabout and take a left signposted towards
the university. Follow this road until you reach another roundabout, take a right into the University
of Stirling campus. Follow the road up the hill and park at the top where indicated for the
Management Centre.
