Na Buaiteoirí sa Chomórtas Ealaíne Seachtain na Gaeilge
An Awards Evening was held on the 13th March for the winners of the Seachtain na
Gaeilge Art Competitions. The Overall Schools Prize was won by Crubany National
School pictured above. We were also privileged to have Ailis Hanly who delivered a
detailed Oral Irish Workshop for Leaving Certificate students in Johnston Central
Library on the 15th March, and in Cootehill Library on 13th March. We would like to take
this opportunity to thank our sponsors in particular Glór Bhréifne, Comhaltas, Booknest
and Irish Education Supplies, Leixslip.

Loveliest of trees, the
cherry now
Is hung with bloom along
the bough
And stands about the
woodland ride
Wearing white for
Eastertide.

View a large model of the Titanic, dress up
as third class, second class and first class
passengers. You can also be a sailor, or
an officer, or dress as the Captain. Try out
a model steam engine and send a real
distress signal on a real telegraph.
