Rotation​ ​–​ This is when a moon or a planet spins on its axis. It takes the
earth 24 hours to complete one rotation.
● It is DAY when the Earth is facing towards the sun in its rotation.
● It is NIGHT when the Earth is facing away from the sun in its
rotation.
*Earth’s rotation causes it to ​appear​ like the sun is moving across the sky.
