Evolution & Inheritance (S1)
In this unit, children start to think about
characteristics passed from one generation to the
next and how species have adapted to suit their
environments; investigate the process of natural
selection, and how our understanding of the process
of evolution has developed over time thanks to the
work of scientists and palaeontologists.
Art
History (S2)
In this unit, children learn how to keep their bodies
healthy. They will study the heart and other vital
organs, how water and nutrients are transported in
the circulatory system, recognise the impact of diet,
exercise and lifestyle on the body and its functions.

of mummification, the pyramids,
daily life in ancient Egypt and the
importance of remaining artefacts.
