Isothermal trailer is a classic cargo vehicle which consists of a cabin and cargo place. There
are many kinds of isothermal trailers. The most common are those with closed cargo place with
normal or movable sailcloth. The cargo place of the second type can easily be opened sidewards.
The first type can be loaded sidewards or from above, for example with crane.

Designed for carriage of bulk cargoes (grain, corn) and inert materials (sand, rubble) and
others.
3. Semi-trailer
Semi-trailers are designed for carriage of big variety of cargoes. The loading can be from
above, from sidewards and backwards. The max. payload is 20m.t. – 22m.t., and it can
accommodate 33 pallets. The cubic capacity is up to 96 cubic meters. Semi-trailer’s
advantages are his pure design, reliability and security. Constructively the semi-trailer differs
with the frame and awning.
4. Megatrailer
The megatrailer is a semi-trailer with increased cubic capacity – up to 100 – 104 cbm.
5. Road train.
Truck plus trailer.
Advantages: fast loading/discharging and great usable volume.
Disadvantages: not suitable for carriage of long-unit cargoes.
Payload: up to 16-22mts. Cubic capacity: up to 120cbm.
6. Jumbo trailer
Semi-trailer with increased cubic capacity. This is achieved by L-shaped floor and
decreased diameter of the wheels of the semi-trailer. Payload – up to 20mts. Cubic capacity:
up to 96-110cbm or 33 euro pallets.
7. Container trailer
Suitable for carriage of containers of all types. Payload – up to 20-30mts. Containers have
fixed standardised dimensions. That’s why container trailers are designed with standardised
clamping mechanism and dimensions.
8. Refrigerated semi-trailer
Isothermal trailer with refrigerating plant. Designed for carriage of goods which require
constant temperature. The cargo compartment could maintain temperature between +25 Co and 25 Co . Payload – up to 22mts. Cubic capacity – up to 92cbm or 33 euro pallets.
