Continue to pray for Henry and Lisa Dyck,
as they are grieving the loss of Lisa’s
mother.
Pray for Dave and Judy Schmitt,
missionaries with EMC in Paraguay. Judy
has been diagnosed with cancer, and
they are seeking treatment. Pray for
God’s healing hand on their lives.

Pray God’s kingdom to come, and his will
be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Pray for Phil and Lydia Hamm as they are
serving in Mexico with the EMC prayer
team. They are planning to come home
this week. Pray for safe travel.
Please pray for Judy Hiebert on
Wednesdays as she teaches at Queen
Elizabeth Public School.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
NOTE: the communion service for this
afternoon has been changed to Dec 4th to be
held during the worship service. And it will be a
communion with no foot washing. The reason for
this change is because baptism is coming up in a
few weeks, and we want to include the new
members.
Prayer request inserts. You will notice in your
bulletins the Missionary of the week insert is also
a prayer request form on the opposite side. You
are invited to fill it out if you have prayer requests,
and put it in with the offering for the ministerial to
read through and pray for during the week.

Service Response to the Windsor, ON Sept
Flooding: MDS is starting to rebuild basements
that were flooded from the late Sept flooding,
where vulnerable families need their basement
and do not have insurance. The cleanup took
place in Oct. Volunteers are needed in particular
for hanging and finishing drywall, and some
carpentry. Related skills are desirable but not
required. Please consider volunteering by calling:

HAPPENINGS THIS WEEK
Men, come out for a comedy night this Saturday,
November 19 2016 at 5:30pm. Bring your kids!
Supper will be provided by donation. Signup in
the foyer so we know how much food to prepare
This Wednesday November 16th we as LEMC
are participating in a soup kitchen at the St.
John's Anglican Church in Leamington across
from Leamington Tortilla. We need a few more
people to make desserts. The signup sheets are
in the foyer. Anyone who has signed up to make
desserts, soup or beans, please have them at the
St. John's Anglican Church by 2pm. Everyone
that has volunteered to help out at the church
please be there at 12:30pm. To help cover the
cost of the food we are collecting donations.
There is a donation bin in the foyer. Deadline to
donate is today. If you have any questions please
contact program committee. Thank you
Young Adults Meet at the church Thursday night
at 7pm. This Thursday we will discuss “the
dating world.” You are free to ask any question
you have on your heart. If you like, just text them
to pastor Jake at 519 355 9155. You will remain
anonymous to the group. Let’s meet and see
what the bible has to say about the principles of
God’s word as it relates to dating. Also, bring a
friend to join you!

Adult Christmas Banquet
Tis the season for an ugly Christmas Sweater!
Come show them off at this year’s adult
Christmas Banquet, Friday December 9th. Doors
open at 5:30pm, Domino's pizza dinner at 6pm.
Cost is $10 per person, 18 and over, to be paid at
the door. Please bring a small dessert to share.
There will be prizes for the ugly, uglier, and
ugliest sweaters, so be
creative! So bring your
favourite Christmas treats,
your ugly sweaters, and come
enjoy a fun filled evening.

Deadline to sign up is December 4th.
Yearly Congregational meeting, November 26 at
3pm at the church. If you are a member here, or
this is your home church, this meeting is for you.
Also, at this meeting the new nominees are voted
into the various positions. Please make it a
priority to attend.
November 27th there will be a baptism and
membership reception service here at the church.
Tommy Enns will be transferring his membership
to LEMC, and 7 people will be receiving baptism.
The names of the baptism candidates are: Jenny
Nuefeld, Courtney Klassen, Emily Penner, Ryan
Fehr, Aaron Froese, Amy Wolf and Shannon
Fehr. Please pray for these people and
encourage them.
November 27, 5:30 BCM Super Soup and Desert
night at Harrow Baptist. $5 per adult and $2.50
per child. Fund raiser for Judy Hiebert who is
teaching the After School Bible Clubs in the
Public Schools. Pray the God will use these clubs
to bring children in to a relationship with Jesus.
