Intelligent Supplies Technology Features
Card Cleaning
Our advanced turret cleaning system thoroughly cleans the
entire front and back of the card in one pass, using cleaning
rollers and cleaning tape supplies. The Maxsys system
optimizes cleaning cycles and supply reuse to achieve highest
supply conservation and consistent performance, eliminating
the need for the additional expense of downstream cleaning
supplies.
For quality card personalization results at the high speed
output of the Maxsys system, only Datacard Certified
Supplies™ have been specifically formulated, tested and
guaranteed for quality performance.
The Maxsys system automatically detects installation of
Datacard Certified Supplies and adjusts settings to optimize
the performance of the individual supply item. This helps
prevent unnecessary card and supply waste caused by supply
change adjustments.
The Maxsys system automatically verifies the supplies are
pre-loaded for each card job. The system validates the
correct supply items (graphics ribbons, cleaning tape, topping
foils and card protection supplies) are installed for the
upcoming job, which helps conserve inventory with less waste
and improves operator productivity.
Ribbons for the graphics printing module offer ribbon saver
features that achieve significant yield savings, up to 50% yield
gains over traditional thermal printing systems. By utilizing
ribbon that was traditionally wasted, the Maxsys system can
now achieve highest ribbon savings for graphics images at a
low cost-per-card, regardless of individual image size or
location printed on the card.
The Maxsys system notifies operators when a supply item is
running low or is completely exhausted. This allows operators
time to acquire replacement supplies before the system stops
production, which helps maximize productivity and reduces
cycle time.
