Board of Directors Scholarship
The Northwestern College Board of Directors Scholarship is a merit program based on a student’s high school grade point
average and Northwestern College placement test scores. Eligible students are those who have/had a cumulative grade point
average of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale and receive an 84 or above on the reading section, a 43 or above on the math section,
and a 77 or above on the writing section of the College’s COMPASS placement test. Students who qualify are eligible to receive
a $4,800 tuition scholarship, distributed at the rate of $800 per quarter.
Applicants are required to submit this application form with copies of their high school transcript and COMPASS scores. All
entries remain the property of Northwestern College and will not be returned.
All scholarships are nontransferable and must be used in conjunction with an associate in applied science degree program.
Quarterly application to tuition is automatic as long as a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, continuous enrollment, and fulltime status in the declared major are maintained, and there is no outstanding debt to the College. The Board of Directors
Scholarship may not be combined with any other Northwestern College scholarship. This scholarship may not be combined
