Organizational Changes 2017

As we know, our mission as part of Specified Air Solutions is: To design, produce and deliver semi-custom HVAC solutions
that ensure an awesome customer experience. To help us continue achieving this mission, SAS Dectron Company has
undergone major changes such as our name change and our recent move to our new, beautiful, big facility.
Now, we have re-organized some departments to help better serve our customers. As a result, I’m pleased to announce
several employee promotions:
Roula Haddad was promoted to the position of Plant Manager. Roula will
oversee production, fabrication, assembly, testing, maintenance, logistics and
quality. Roula joined SAS Dectron Company four years ago as Quality
Assurance and Continuous Improvement Coordinator. She then was promoted
to Continuous Improvement Engineer. Roula has been involved in developing
various operation processes and associated metrics during her tenure with
SAS Dectron Company. In addition, she was instrumental in orchestrating the
move into our new facility. Prior to joining SAS Dectron Company, Roula was in
Quality Assurance and Project Management in the pharmaceutical industry.
She holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from the
Lebanese American University.
Mike Westergaard has been promoted to the new position of Project and
Production Engineering Manager. Since 2004, Mike has worked for the
Weather-Rite and Phoenix Air Systems’ brands in various mechanical
engineering management positions. In this new role, Mike will oversee the
Project Engineering teams with emphasis on on-time and accurate job
releases, proper use of software and established process, sales support and
shop support. A key area for improvement is turnaround time on drawings.
Mike is a graduate of Northwest Technical College in the Engineering program.
Massoud Loloyan is now Chief Engineer and will focus on value engineering,
legacy product and new product development. Massoud has extensive
experience in indoor pool dehumidification and dedicated outside air units. He
re-joined SAS Dectron Company three years ago as Engineering Director.
Massoud has over 25 years’ experience in management, project management
and production planning. In addition, he has a Master degree in Mechanical
Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree.
Alois Malik has become Product Process Engineer Architect. In this role, Alois
will continue assisting Regional Sales Managers as Applications Engineer and
will focus more on developing standard product and processes. He will also
assist the team with new product development. A 34-year employee, Alois
previously held the position as Senior Applications Engineer. He is a member
of ASHRAE and holds a Civil Engineering degree from the University of
Transport and Communication. Presently, Alois acts as ASHRAE TC8.10
Research Subcommittee Chair and AHRI Dehumidifiers Product Section Chair.
Gary Jones has been named Product Manager for Dry-o-Tron. In this role, he
will be responsible for new product development and pricing for the line, as well
as interfacing with customers to provide training and education. Gary has been
employed at Dectron for over 27 years, 21 of those year he spent in Service,
most recently as Service Manager. He is also involved in Research &
Development projects with several designs in the prototype stage. Gary’s
educational background is in the Building Systems Technology program at
Vanier College. In addition, he has patented inventions for SAS Dectron
Company in the U.S. and Canada.
Ladilav Coufal has been promoted to Service Manager. In this new capacity,
Ladi will oversee the Service department for all Dectron products, as well as,
dispatching technicians to job sites, taking care of daily requests,
troubleshooting and parts warranty. Ladi started his 32 year career with
Dectron as a Testing Technician and was later promoted to Testing Supervisor.
He has led the service department by training personnel, visiting jobsites and
servicing units. He plays a major role in on-site installations and startups of
some of the most complicated units. Ladi has a college degree in mechanical
building and refrigeration and has also taken electrical and refrigeration
courses.
Yves Cloutier has left SAS Dectron Company to pursue other opportunities.
This is an exciting day at SAS Dectron Company as we turn to a future filled with rapid growth and dynamic success. These
changes reinforce our commitment to an integrated, productive and successful team environment. I look forward to our
team, together with our valued customers, delivering outstanding results each month and quarter this year.
