PARKING. There is some limited parking outside the hall otherwise there are
various side roads. Please park with consideration to local residents. The main
A15 is part of the course so no parking please.
NUMBERS. Will be issued when signing on.
Please Allow sufficient time to reach the Start which is approx. 2 miles north of
the HQ. Parking in Start and Finish areas is restricted to Official vehicles only.
RESTRICTIONS.
There must be no warming up on the course once the event is in progress.
Uturns Within site of the time keepers could lead to disqualification.
Awareness of surroundings No head/earphones permitted except hearing aids
(Reg 19)
Sleeveless Tops Are not permitted. (Regulation 16)
FINISH. Please call your number out upon completing your ride.
Awards: The LRRA and Sleaford Wheelers are using the old Vets Standards
this season. Only one prize per rider, with the exception of the team award.

Course details C50/2
Start at give way sign at Swarby Lane end, 4 miles south of Sleaford. After 10 yards join A15
northbound to Quarrington roundabout (2.6 miles). Encircle the roundabout and retrace along
A15 to Osbournby roundabout (8.2 miles). Take 3rd exit to join A52 west towards Grantham.
Encircle Spitalgate roundabout (17 miles) and return along A52 to Osbournby roundabout
(25.2 miles). Continue along A52 to roundabout, just over railway bridge at Donington (33.5
miles). Encircle the roundabout and return along A52 to Osbournby roundabout (41.8 miles).
Take 3rd exit to join A15 north towards Sleaford. Continue along A15 to Quarrington
roundabout (47.5 miles). Encircle roundabout and retrace along A15 to finish at point
approximately 250 yards short of the start and 3 yards short of farm gateway on the left and
10 yards short of telegraph pole No. 43 (50 Miles).

There is a significant possibility the road works scheduled to be carried out from the
12th June on the Donnington leg of the course may impact on the safety of this part
of the event, I will be checking the course on Friday the 15th, in the event of the
C50/2 course being unsafe the following course to be designated C50/4 will be used on
the day.
Start at End of Back Lane on A15 approximately 440 yards north of Swarby Lane. Proceed
North to Quarrington roundabout (2.35 miles). Encircle roundabout to proceed South along
A15 to Osbournby roundabout (7.95 miles). Take 3rd exit on to A52 and proceed West to
Spitalgate roundabout (16.48 miles). Encircle roundabout and retrace along A52 to
Osbournby roundabout (25 miles). Encircle roundabout and retrace along A52 to Spitalgate
roundabout (33.50). Encircle roundabout and retrace along A52 to Osbournby roundabout (42
miles). Take 1st exit on to the A15 and travel North to Quarrington roundabout (47.57 miles).
Encircle roundabout and proceed South on A15 to Finish at Field Entrance approximately
260 yards South of Start. (50 miles)

IN THE INTERESTS OF YOUR OWN SAFETY, Cycling Time Trials and the
Event Promoters strongly advise you to wear a HARD SHELL HELMET
that meets a recognized standard.
CTT recommend that a working rear light, either flashing or constant, is
fitted to the machine in a position visible to following road users and is
active whilst the machine is in use.
Roundabouts
Whichever of the above courses is used roundabouts are a significant hazard,
at some points in time the marshals will have riders entering from different
directions and may not be able to pick out which riders are on which part of
the course. It is your responsibility to negotiate the roundabouts safely and
be aware of the correct route
The number shall be centrally positioned below the waist so as to be
clearly visible from the rear when in his/her normal riding position.
