Focus On...Our Retailers
With the new Clear-Seal shop kits now in stock and available to order, we focus on our customers who
have had them installed into their retail stores, we discover the timescales for the installations and
what the stores think of them once they’re completed.
The Aquatic Store
Definitely Different
In July, The Aquatic Store, Bristol had six bays of aquatic tanks from Clear-Seal’s new shop kit range
installed to house its great selection of tropical fish from the favourites like Neon Tetras & Guppies
through to the more unusual, Congo Frogs, Puffer Fish & Malawi Cichlid. We spoke to Steve at The
Aquatics Store to find out what he thinks about his newly installed shop kits.
“I chose the Clear-Seal shop kits because Clear-Seal have always
made good quality aquariums and I could specify how the
aquariums were set up”
The Clear-Seal tanks can either have centralised filtration or
individual filters.
“We had individual filters in each aquarium to suit various species
of fish with different water quality needs.”
“The units were installed within a week of being ordered and the
installation took less than a day. We filled them with water on the
day they were installed and put fish in them a week later. The shop
looks a lot neater & tidier now as the tanks we had before were 10
years old and were a bit scratched.”
WATERWORLD AQUATIC CENTRE - ABERDEEN
Waterworld is a family run aquatic store providing a retail service in Aberdeen since the early 80s. We
caught up with Fred from Waterworld to find out his experience of ordering the Clear-Seal shop kit and
having it installed.
“I chose to have a Clear-Seal shop kit because they’re good value and I could get them quickly
once I’d ordered them. They were delivered in 14 days.”
When asked about how long they took to install and how they looked, Fred replied “They were
installed into my new marine shop that’s in the process of being built in just one day and now
I’ve ordered a shrimp tank for my existing shop.”
“They look nice in my brand new marine shop.”
Last month Shirley Aquatics in the West Midlands, also had six bays of aquatic display units installed
from Clear-Seal’s newly launched shop-kits range. Here, we chat with Richard at Shirley Aquatics to
find out why they’d chosen to have them and what impact they feel the units have had now they’re
installed.
“We liked the look of them and we’ve been dealing with Clear-Seal for decades. We know the
quality is there and of course they were a good price.
Shirley Aquatics had six bays installed. When asked about the ordering and installation process,
Richard replied:
“The units were installed within a day and the installation took place 2-3 weeks after we ordered
them. We started using them within a couple of days, as we had mature filter media from other
systems. Our original system was failing quite badly, so we needed to get things moved over as
quickly as possible.”
“The units have given us more space & our customers see the fish easier in the new aquatic
display units.”
The images show the process behind installing the new shop kits and how the end result looks.
