communities. Safer has been working for
more than 30 years to reduce recidivism

REENTRY:
Provides counseling services in the
following areas: addictions, life and
coping skills, job, and family counseling
as well as aftercare, mentoring and
housing assistance. St. Leonard’s
Ministries provides comprehensive
residential, case management, and
employment services for those released
from prison without resources needed to
rebuild their lives. Grace House (women)
and St. Leonard’s House (men) provides
transitional placement for ex offenders.

My Sisters exists to identify, equip
and empower volunteers to provide
domestic violence services to
incarcerated survivors. Research
indicates that a very high percentage
of incarcerated women are survivors
of family violence. The experiene
of incarceration often serves as a
trigger of past abuse and creates a
considerable challenge to successfully
serving time. And yet there are very
few survivor groups in our nation’s
correctional facilities. My Sisters
provides training and curriculum
to individuals desiring to begin or
enhance survivor services inside area
prisons and jails. We are established as
a not-for-profit and will be obtaining
501(c)3 status. Training venues will be
established for 2011.
