Antrim Elementary School “Antrim Eagles Soar!” 10 School Street ▪ Antrim, NH ▪ 03440 ▪ Phone: 603-588-6371 January 15, 2016 Dear Parents and Guardians, For centuries, people from all over the world have marked the beginning of each new year by making resolutions. Resolutions embody the hopes that we have for ourselves, partnered with the changes that we believe will make our lives—or the lives of others—better in some way. The staff at AES will be marking the beginning of 2016 by thinking about the hopes that we have for our students, your children. Related to the hopes that staff members identify, we will also be developing descriptive statements that capture our vision of an ideal school—what it looks like, what it feels like. This information, along with information gathered from other sources (e.g., reading achievement, math achievement, school culture/climate, and best practices), will guide our on-going efforts to improve the educational experience that AES offers your children. It is very important to us that we include the perspective of parents and guardians as we begin this process. Therefore, we are inviting you to answer the same questions that the staff at AES will be answering. You can answer these questions on paper (see attached survey) or online (see parent survey link on the AES homepage). Please consider completing and submitting the survey by Friday, January 29th. We strongly believe your thoughts and ideas will further enhance our ability to make decisions and take action that serves the best interests of your child(ren). Sincerely, AES Leadership Team Sarah Grossi, Kindergarten Teacher Mary Donovan, Grade One Teacher Liz Lawler, Grade Two Teacher Tom Morris, Grade Three Teacher Fabi Woods, Grade Four Teacher Christine Lindner, Speech-Language Assistant Allison Lipnoski, Special Educator Roberta Wilmot, Title I Teacher Carole Storro, Art/Music Teacher Robin Gregg, School Counselor Ann Allwarden, Principal Where Kids Are #1 AES Parent Survey Directions: Please complete and submit this survey by Friday, January 29th.
