YRC (Youth Red Cross)
1. One day study Camp was organized at APA College, Palani and J.A Collage, Periyakulam.
2. Blood donation Camps, Awareness Camps on Health and Hygene, Polio,AIDS, Disaster
Management and Environment Protection camps were organized through the YRC units of
University and University and University college and Affiliated Colleges.
RRC (Red Ribbon Club)
1. Programmes on 'Celebrity on Life' a Ten Hour Module, visiting of ICTC Centres and ART
Centres Interaction with HIR Positive Patients and Transgender persons were mooted for the
units of University, University College and Affiliated colleges.
2. Inter collegiate cultural Competitions in connection with 'Youth Carnival.' On AIDS Awareness were
conducted on 21.07.2010 at Mother Teresa Women's University, Kodaikanal. Selected volunteer’s nearly
50 were taken to Chennai to take part in the Youth Carnival at Chennai on 12 08.2010.
3. Two days Training Programme was conducted for the RRC Programme Officer's from 10.
01.2011 to 11.01.2011.
