Southwest Florida Christian Academy was founded in 1994,
as a ministry of McGregor Baptist Church, and is a co-educational, college
preparatory school enrolling students from kindergarten through grade 12.
SFCA is located in Lee County on the southwest coast of Florida. Students

Faculty: The educators at SFCA must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s
Degree in the field they are teaching, as well as professional certification

hold state certification. The teaching staff averages thirteen years of
educational experience and the standard class size limit is 25.
Curricular Distinctives: Students are provided a college preparatory
program supplemented with offerings in a variety of practical and performing

standards. It demands an above average level of analytical reading ability and
challenges students at a high cognitive level. A variety of Advanced Placement
Courses are offered to students in grades 11 through 12. Additionally, Juniors
may dual enroll in one course per semester and Seniors may dual enroll for up
to three courses per semester through Florida Gulf Coast University or Edison
State College.
Honor Society:
SFCA participates in the National Honor Society and
National Junior Honor Society to recognize students who excel academically,
as well as in the areas of character, service and integrity.
