Versatile Wave Purse

Pattern: Versatile Wave by Susan Rooney patterns
Basic purse, lining, pockets & straps:
(all the same fabric):
Fabric A: 1 yard, basic purse and lining
(if you want a different fabric for your lining, you’ll need 2/3 yard)
Recommended batting for basic purse & straps
¾ yard of Thermolam or comparable, or Soft & Stable (foam like
batting) for a sturdier base.
Fabric for each reversible purse cover:
Fabric B: 1/3 yard or fat quarter
Fabric C: 1/3 yard or fat quarter
Fusible interfacing: ¾ yard by at least 40” wide – Décor Bond or
comparable
(includes amounts for suggestion to interface reversible cover and for
sturdier pockets if desired)
Notions:
14” regular or separating sport zipper or 12” purse zipper
4 swivel clasps (to accommodate 1 ¼” straps)
2 large buttons
Single fold bias tape (for loops if not making)
Thread to match
1 yard cording for piping (optional)
