Campfire Program
Gather ‘round the fire and listen to a Native American Tale, sing
campfire songs, and make a s’more. Pre-register.
Senior Day
Seniors, come enjoy yoga, tai chai, painting, trail walks, flower
arranging, & music. Groups of 5 or more, please pre-register.
Fishin’ at the Pond
Poles and bait provided.
A Night of Coloring
Adults and kids, do you enjoy coloring? Join us for a relaxing
evening of coloring in nature. Bring your supplies or use ours.
Story & Craft
We will read The Owl & the Woodpecker, make an owl craft, and
play some games about these birds. Family program. Pre-register
Independence Fun
Self-guided games, history, and scavenger hunt.
Come anytime between 10am and 2pm.
Mindfulness & Yoga
Kids ages 8 and up will learn mindfulness and some fun yoga
animal poses. We will also make a glitter jar. Pre-register.
Story & Craft
We will read Henry the Heron, make a heron craft, and play a
game or two. Family program. Pre-register.
Batty for Bats
BNC is home to several species of bats, and there are hundreds of others
scattered throughout the world. They do many beneficial things. Learn
about them & taste some foods they pollinate. Pre-register. All ages.
Nature Flower Arranging
Have you ever wanted to learn how to arrange flowers? We will
make arrangements using native flowers & grasses. Pre-register.
Story & Craft
We will read Feathers for Lunch, make a bird craft, and do some
bird activities. Family program. Pre-register
Puppets & Craft
Watch a puppet show about a bird that wishes to be something
else. We will also make a craft and do some activities. Family
program. Pre-register
Campfire Program
Listen to a story about a heron and a hummingbird, play a game,
hike a trail, & make a treat. Family program. Pre-register.
Program Registration: Most programs we ask for pre-registration so we know how many assistants we may need
and how many supplies to gather. To ensure a spot in a program, please call several days before the program. We
reserve the right to cancel a program due to low enrollment. If you have registered and then discover you cannot

The programs above are offered free of charge. We often put out a donation bucket at the programs so those attending
can make a contribution to support our programming if than wish.
