Upcoming Events
We will create chocolate
bar stamps and complete a
melting chocolate experiment
during
the
Mounds
of
Chocolate Week.
We will
experiment
with
flubber
making and turn an egg into
rubber during Flubber Blubber
Week. We will talk about
Martin Luther King and write
our own “My dream is…”
speech as well as design our
own Nobel peace prize and a
hand-in-hand diversity project.
We will make and eat Belgium
waffles to end the month!
We will open February
with We Are the Champions
Week and host the first
annual
Charles
Carroll
Olympics. We will celebrate
the Super Bowl winner with a
Super Bowl Party on February
2. During Valentine’s Week
we will create Valentine’s Day
cards, make candy grams and
experiment
with
colorchanging carnations. We will
investigate former Presidents
and create an “If I were a
President collage”. We will
end February with a design
your own pizza activity and a
pizza party on February 26.
Important Reminders
If your child has any
special
medication
administration
instructions
from their doctor, parents
must complete the Maryland State
Department
of
Education form, have it signed
by their doctor and returned to
the Center.
Tuition for your child has
to be received at our Main
Office on or before the first of
the month or a late payment
charge will be administered.
If a holiday falls on the first of
the month, please remember
to have your payment in
earlier to avoid a late fee.

Dinner Chat
Integrity means doing the
right thing even when no one
is looking. How do we show
Integrity at school, home and
ABC Care?
Club Reps
Club representatives are
chosen to have a leadership
role in clubs throughout the
year. We currently have a
sports club and children
participated in a kickball
tournament.
We are now
planning a Super Bowl party
for early February.
Fundraising
Each week in January,
our Snack Shack will begin a
new sale - Chocolate bar sale,
a hot chocolate sale, colossal
doughnuts and a taco bar on
January 28.
Each week in February,
we will be participating in a
different sale - candy grams, a
bake sale, a carnation sale

and a pizza party on February
26.
