GENERAL CIRCULAR NO. 5 : 2015 – 16
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Mega Jubilee Xavier Fair 2015: As already informed you vide Circular No. 3 dated September 03,
2015, the school is going to celebrate its Platinum jubilee in 2016. Since it is a yearlong celebration, the
inaugural ceremony will be on Thursday, February 18, 2016 while the closing ceremony will be on
Saturday, February 18, 2017. As part of this celebration we are going to organize the Xavier Fair 2015
in a grand manner. It is this Fair that helps us to support over 500 students for their education in the
school throughout the year. It is amazing how your generous contribution to this cause has helped
hundreds of students in the past. Once again I solicit your generosity and goodwill towards this noble
cause.
We have begun the countdown for the Mega Xavier Fair 2015, which will be held on Sunday,
December 20, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. It is open to the entire Jaipurites and the entry to the
Fair will be through Entrance Ticket. For the students of St. Xavier’s School entry will be free provided
they come in school uniform and carry the School I-Card of the year 2015-16. In order to avoid the
inconvenience to get the entrance tickets on the Fair day, looking to the big crowd at the ticket-selling
booth, we have decided to sell the entrance tickets to the parents of our school students and the
general public in advance @ Rs. 100/- per ticket. Each student can purchase a maximum number
of four tickets through his/her class teacher. If you are interested in purchasing the tickets in advance
please fill up the pro-forma given below and send it back to the class teacher of your son/daughter along
with the payment from Wednesday, 16th December, to Saturday, 19th December, 2015. Tickets are
also available from the Fair Office till Saturday, 19th December, 2015 up to 6:00 p.m. @ Rs. 100/- per
ticket, if anybody wishes to buy. On the Fair day spot tickets (tickets purchased on the fair day
itself) are available only @ Rs.200/- per ticket.
Winter Break: The winter holidays will be from Wednesday, December 23, 2015 to Sunday,
January 03, 2016. Reopening will be on Monday, January 04, 2016. Attendance is compulsory on
the reopening day.
Second Round Pre-Board Examinations for Std. XII will be held from 6th January to 20th January,
2016. Timetable is given overleaf. It is mandatory for all the students to appear in the 2nd round
Pre-Board Examinations.
The evaluated answer sheets of the FIRST ROUND pre-board examination will be distributed to
the students on Tuesday, 22nd December, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
