The sweeping bays, untouched beaches, lazy lagoons and rocky headlands
of the old Transkei provide the perfect setting for a romantic ceremony and
spectacular photographs. Conveniently situated just north of East London
in the Eastern Cape, Trennerys offers a variety of venue options,
mouth-watering cuisine and intimate accommodation.

Wedding Ceremony Settings
Reception Sites
A varied choice of romantic settings is on offer. The endless beach is
spectacular depending on the weather or an intimate chapel created
in the Wreck Room. You can opt for the luscious lawns overlooking
the untamed lagoon or a tropical island in the swimming pool
surrounded by mystical gardens.
You can choose either an elegant marquee erected on the bowling
greens so close to the sea you’ll hear the waves or the olde world
charm of the enclosed courtyard, ideally suited to balmy summer
nights and finally the softly lit dining hall overlooking the sparkling
swimming pool and rolling lawns.
Guest Capacity
The maximum number of guests we can comfortably accommodate
is 110 sharing paying persons per night. To seure the entire hotel
complex for your exclusive use, a minimum of 60 guests staying at
Trennerys Hotel is required.
Décor
You are welcome, if available, to start decorating your chosen venue
the day before the wedding, to help ease the pressure of your big day.
There is ample space in each venue for a dance floor with DJ, band
or other entertainment.
Bar Service
Our fully licensed bar offers all liquors, wines and champagne. You
may run either a cash or bar tab and will be kept updated throughout
the reception on the tab’s progress. Once the limit has been reached,
you have the option to continue or change to a cash bar.
Welcome drinks can also be arranged, at an additional cost, for your
guests to enjoy while you are having your photographs taken.

Signature Menus
From scrumptious buffets to delicious set menus - we offer you
a selection of mouth-watering options to suit your style and
budget and delight your guests.
As a gift, the bridal couple will receive their wedding night in the
Honeymoon Suite on a bed and breakfast basis with compliments
of the hotel. Reduced rates are also on offer to family and friends
staying on after the wedding.

We can guard your precious bouquets and help to keep them fresh.

Trusted staff can be arranged as child minders
at a cost of R25.00 per hour paid
directly to the babysitter.
