Aaron Weegar named director of sales Aaron Weegar has been appointed director of sales at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day efforts of the resort’s sales team at the 2,267-room property. Weegar returns to the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin having previously served as the resort’s account director for the Northeast market where he and his team consistently exceeded sales goals. Most recently he was the Director of Sales at The Diplomat in Ft. Lauderdale where he led the property’s sales team through a successful brand transition while continuing to meet goals. Weegar has more than 10 years of hospitality sales experience and is a graduate of The University of Findlay in Ohio. Nick Anderson promoted to director of group sales The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort has promoted Nick Anderson to director of group sales. In Anderson’s new role, he will oversee the resort’s sales managers and lead the team responsible for booking executive meetings. Anderson joined the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin in May 2014 as group sales account director and in 2015 was promoted to associate director of sales. He previously served some of the world’s largest hotels at the managerial and director levels, with career highlights including pre-opening operations and sales for several major convention hotels in Las Vegas. Anderson is a graduate of Eastern Washington University in Washington state.
