Have the person stand up against a wall, standing flat on
his/her feet
2.
Have the person reach up against the wall as much as
possible and mark off the highest point the person can reach.
3.
Then, have the person take several jumps, just from the
standstill position (it ‘s all about leg strength!!)
4.
Again, mark off the highest point the person can reach in the
jumps. Select the highest point.
5.
Measure the distance between the two marks: this is the
person’s vertical jump, in inches or cm.
