Everyone needs a reason to start. For me it was my
son’s school formal. At Kieran’s school, the parents go
and there is a mother and son dance. It was over a year
before the event and all the mums had started talking
about what they were going to wear. I suddenly found
myself on the end of my bed looking forward with this
awful dress that I hate, because it’s the only thing I
could fit into. I was so upset because I wasn’t
going to look the way that I wanted to.
That’s when I saw an advert for Lite n’ Easy and I
thought I would give it a go.
I was really surprised when I received the first delivery.
The food tasted delicious and the variety was amazing.
I think that’s the main difference between Lite n’ Easy
and other diets and why I was so successful.
I hit my goal weight before the formal. I’d lost 45 kilos
and was feeling amazing. It was such a proud moment
for me when I danced with Kieran at the formal and
he said that I looked great. It was a special moment
between the two of us.

better for it and I’m leading the life I want to lead.

I’d been trying to lose weight for 2 years but without
much success. Then about 6 months after we got
married I decided to try Lite n’ Easy.
Being a shift worker and not being able to cook very
often it made sense to go on the full meal plan. I never
really thought of it as a diet though. I thought of it
more as just a way to help me get the nutrition that
I knew I needed.
As the weight dropped off I started sleeping better and
I had a lot more energy at work. It was also reassuring
that it was a constant gradual weight loss because I
didn’t want to do it quickly. I didn’t want a crash diet
because I knew it wouldn’t last.
I’ve lost 14 kilos and I feel so much better. I’ve got more
energy and I feel so much more confident. The clothes
I’ve always loved are fitting me again and I am happier
being in front of people. I really thrive in my work now
that I am comfortable with who I am.

In April last year I had all my children visiting for Easter
including my eldest daughter who was expecting our
first grandchild. Soon after my thoughts turned to how
unhealthy I felt and how much I wanted to be at my
grandchild’s 21st.
A back injury a couple of years ago left me with frequent
pain and limited mobility so I really packed on the weight.
I was 113 kilos, unfit and unhappy. Then one evening I
saw a Lite n’ Easy ad on TV and my wife suggested I give
it a try. The very next morning I called and started this
amazing journey.
As a foodie, I was surprised how fantastic the
pre-prepared food tasted, I really didn’t expect to like it.
Every meal is tasty and there is such great variety.
The weight just fell off and after only 6 months I had lost
32 kilos! I had to purchase a complete new wardrobe as
previously I wore size 44 trousers and now I wear a size
34! I have not been this size for some 20 years.

life. My kids are so happy now and can see how much
happier and healthier I am. I look better, feel better and I
am much more positive about my health and future with
my growing family.
