It is commonly known as Arjun chal belongs to the family Combretaceae. It is a large, evergreen tree,
with a spreading crown and drooping branches. The useful part is Bark. The bark contains ß-sitosterol,
ellagic acid, and trihydroxytriterpenemonocarboxylic acid, named arjunic acid. It is also found to contain
flavonoids, polyphenols and triterpenoids like and proanthocyanidins. Terminalia arjuna has been
evaluated for its various pharmacological activities. It has been reported to possess wound healing, anti
oxidant, hepatoprotective, cardiotonic, antibacterial and antifungal activities. It is cardio protective,

It is commonly known as Spanish Cherry/Bakul, belongs to the family Sapotaceae. Spanish cherry is a
lovely green small tree grows up to 15 meters in height. Leaves simple, opposite, oblong, acute or
acuminate, glabrous, leathery and wavy margins; flowers gray colored, very fragrant, found as solitary in
leaf axils. Fruits ovoid berries, containing 1-2 seeds per fruit. The useful parts are Bark, Flower Fruits,
Seeds. Various parts of the tree have medicinal properties. The flowers are a source of a volatile essential
oil, and from the fruits and seeds phytoactives such as quercitrol, ursolic acid, glucose, a triterpene
alcohol, quercetin, di-hydroquercetin and sitosterol glycoside have been isolated. Plant pacifies vitiated
vata, pitta, urinary tract infections, diarrhea, dysentery, wound, ulcers, headache, dental caries and
constipation. It is used in the treatment and maintenance of oral hygiene. Rinsing mouth with water
solution made with bakul helps in strengthening the teeth. It also prevents bad breath and helps keep the
gums healthy.

It is commonly known as Red Ebony belongs to the family Leguminaceae / Ceasalpinaceae. It is small to
medium sized deciduous tree growing straight. The useful parts are Stem bark, Flower, Roots. The plant
contains tannins, sugar, gum quercetol glycosides flavonoids, myricetol chalone glycosides.
