Tuition Fees and Building Levy are set each year by the Diocesan Schools Board and are standard for every systemic school
in the Catholic Diocese of Broken Bay. All amounts collected are submitted to the Catholic Schools Office on a monthly basis.
All school fees are billed on an annual basis. Fees are due and payable by the date stated. Arrangements can also be made
to pay fees fortnightly or monthly. The due dates for payment will be clearly identified on the invoice.
Sibling discounts are not automatic and must be applied for by completing, signing and submitting the 2016 Family
Registration form available from the College Reception.
The preferred method of payment is BPAY. The College also accepts payment by cheque, EFTPOS, credit card (Visa and
MasterCard only).
Families may make arrangements to alter the standard payment terms. Payments may be altered to yearly, monthly or
fortnightly. All alterations should be made within the first three weeks of Term 1.
If more than one account is to be issued per family, written approval of all parties involved must be obtained. Please contact
the College Bursar for more information.
In case of genuine financial hardship, families should apply to the Principal for consideration. In the first instance, please
contact the College Bursar.
Eligibility for Sibling Discount
The first child is the child in the family who is in the most senior class of any systemic school in the Catholic Diocese of Broken Bay.
Second and subsequent children are defined in descending order of class seniority of children attending any systemic Catholic School
in the Diocese of Broken Bay. Sibling discounts on Tuition Fees are available once the Family Registration form has been submitted to
the College Bursar.
Discounts are available for siblings attending Broken Bay diocesan systemic schools on the following scale:
Second child
Third child
Fourth child
20% discount
50% discount
100% discount
Students attending systemic schools in the Archdiocese of Sydney, the Diocese of Parramatta and the Diocese of Wollongong may
also be eligible for sibling discount on tuition fees and a reduction on the Diocese of Broken Bay Building Levy.
College Based Charges
St Paul’s sets its own school based charges. These cover such items as curriculum resources, incursions and excursions, reflection
days, sport expenses, cleaning and maintenance of the College and associated grounds, security and other College needs.
Digital Resource Fee
This is an annual fee charged per student for the care and maintenance of the College’s computers and networked services including
software licensing and infrastructure replacement. The digital resource fee is charged to every student and is in addition to the fee
relating to the College issued computer device.
Additional Course Fees
These fees cover additional charges to students electing to study more costly subjects which involve consumables and resources.
Representative Sport Fees
All students who represent St Paul’s in a team sport such as rugby league, rugby union, soccer, cricket etc. will be charged a flat fee of
$40 to be paid once the team has been established. This fee will be invoiced from the College office and will appear on your monthly
statement called “Representative Sport Fee”. This fee covers the costs associated with transporting the team to the venue of play as
well as other costs such as registration and the laundering of uniforms.
If a student is in more than one sporting team, he will be charged for each sport team he represents. For example, if a student
represents St Paul’s in rugby league and soccer in the same term, he will be charged $80. If a team shirt is not returned to St Paul’s a
fee of $25 will be added to the student’s school fees.
A student attending a Broken Bay carnival or gala day will be charged between $15 and $30, depending on the sport involved. Any
student selected to participate in NSW Combined Catholic Colleges events will incur additional costs.
Building Works News
For the information of all parents in the College we are pleased to confirm that the construction of our multipurpose hall is nearing
completion. The finance for this project is supported by the Catholic Schools Office.
As you would be aware each family pays a Building Levy. In 2016 this levy will be $910.00. This money goes to a central fund
administrated by the Catholic Schools Office to support building works throughout the Diocese. This fund is currently fully committed to
other schools in the Diocese.
With our current multi-purpose hall project, the school and the Diocese have agreed upon a temporary plan which involves the school
making direct contributions to the loan required for the building of the hall. When the central fund is able, there will be a readjustment
of payments in favour of the school.
