Subject: Map a Common Drive for all Network Client Workstations.
Technical Bulletin TB_102402
Purpose: This bulletin provides instructions for creating a central database for incident download, storage
and retrieval on multiple Network Client workstations.
Issue: Customers with multiple Network Clients need to share downloaded video clips.
Solution: Create a shared directory following the instructions below.
Instructions: Map a common drive to all the Network Client workstations.

Open the Network Client program.
Select Database on the bottom left hand corner of the program
Select File, Database and New as shown below.

Create Database pop up menu appears. Give the new Database a Name. For the example below, the
database name is TB_102402.

Select the drive path to the Network Client DATABASE that all the Network Client workstations are
mapped to. For this example, the default drive C is selected.
Note: If a directory selected does not exist, select Yes on the Choose Directory pop up
menu.

Select OK to approve the database path. You will now see the new database that you named. From a
central database you can now download, store and retrieve video with individual Network Client
workstations.
