- Cesar Sanchez
Mexican born tenor, Cesar Sanchez, is an
exciting new artist praised for his heroic
intensity and rich passionate voice.
Mr. Sanchez began his music studies
as a
boy chorister at the Church of the Sacred
Heart in Tijuana" Mexico.
After completing a Bachelor's Degree in
Mexico, Mr. Sanchez was bestowed the title
of "Ambassador of the Arts'from the
Mexican government. This prize also
allowed him to travel to Europe where he
studied on full scholarship at the famous
Mozarteum Conservatory of Music rn
Salzburg, Austria.
Among the roles he has sung are Alfred
(La Traviata),Marrrco {Il Trovatore) and.
Turridu (Covall eria Rustic ana). Recently
Mr. Sanchez sang the role of Calaf in the
opera (Turandot) for the outdoor Tijuana
Opera Summer Festival with an audience of more than 14,000. He will soon perform the role of
Mario Cavaradossi (Tosca) with the Tampa Opera in Florida.
In addition to his recitals, he works to firther the love of opera and classical music in Mexico by
arranging Master Classes with farned coach Dianelle Orlando, and legendary opera director Tito
Capobianco. He is a gifted linguist and speaks Englislr, Italian, Gernan, Romanian and his
native Spanish.
